Here’s how YOU can contribute to this campaign:
• Mobilization: Spread the word. ESPECIALLY to those you know in the Gandhinagar constituency! We need their votes. Talk to your friends and relatives, colleagues, neighbours, people at public places like café, malls, and anybody else who might actually be able to use their vote to make this happen! Ask people to spread the word to others, and this way build a people’s network.
• Raise Funds: Get people to donate… we need resources! Even small amounts of Rs 10/- will help the campaign a lot. (the details for this will be put up on the group shortly). See details on how funds should be sent to us by bank transfer or by cheque.
• Publicity: Designing posters, flyers, banners, t-shirts and any other way of advertising. Distributing posters by hand and pasting them on the walls across seven constituencies will require many hands.
• Cultural Activities: Dance, music, painting, writing, blogging, are other ways in which you can connect with people and help in spreading the word.
• Research: To build a strong campaign, our research team needs help in collecting data on important social issues, demographic and electorate statistics, assessment of the government among other things. Come forward if you think you are good with data crunching, figures and numbers!
• Resources/Logistics: To travel around seven constituencies is not easy. Help will be needed in terms of organizing for travel, meetings with local groups, accommodation, food and beverages as well as managing office, computers etc.
• Foot Soldiers: If nothing else, then you can simply lend your support to any of the teams in carrying out their work.
