What of the programmes declared by the State Government?

In order to assess the efficacy and implementation of the programmes declared by the State Government, we made a RTI application to the Information Officer in the Chief Minister’s Office, Gandhinagar. We requested:
- Information on all the programmes/ packages declared by the state government from 1st January 2007 to 20th October 2009.
- Information on the amount of money spent on the construction of the hoardings to publicize the declared programmes; the detailed location of the hoardings; the names of the contractors to whom the construction of the hoardings was awarded; and the money paid for the same.
- The names, surnames, village, taluka, and zilla of the people who benefited from the declared programmes.
- Information of the villages/towns wherein programmes for rural development, urban development and/or infrastructure were declared and implemented.
